Tatenda & Alfred : Suikerbossie

Tatenda and Alfred were another one of my "destination" couples. Yip, beautiful Capetonians living in Johannesburg!!

My first contact was via e-mail with Tatenda and then a rather hillarious skype session. Tatenda was extremely patient with my ineptitude and we eventually connected and were able to chat about her vision for her special day.

We were subsequently able to meet on several occasions and had great fun working together with this stunning couple to style their table decor. The reception was to be held at Suikerbossie, a venue which I enjoy working at.

Tatenda chose royal blue and white and, right up until the last minute, I was not 100 percent sure that royal blue delphiniums would be available. We therefore committed to having mostly white and green flower arrangements. I was overjoyed that I could include splashes of royal blue to the flower arrangements. The venue looked stunning - half the tables had a glass candelabra with a crystal vase at the foot and the other half had tall glass vases complemented with glass cylinder candle holders containing floating candles.
